In addition to possessing the standard capabilities of conventional oil booms—namely, intercepting, controlling, and diverting oil spills—fire-resistant oil booms are specifically designed to contain burning oil spills and surface fires. By preventing the spread of flames, they are particularly well-suited for use in sensitive areas with high fire safety requirements, such as oil ports, oil terminals, and offshore drilling platforms. Furthermore, these fire-resistant booms can be utilized to tow spilled oil to a suitable location for controlled burning and disposal.

◆ The floating fire boom’s water-surface fire containment system consists of stainless steel floats, flexible materials capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1000°C, and universal quick connectors; it can be deployed in series with standard oil booms.
◆ The underwater skirt is constructed from high-strength fabric—heat-bonded and double-coated with premium flame-retardant rubber that is resistant to oil and aging—ensuring exceptional structural integrity and durability.
◆ A robust tensile system is formed by a stainless steel wire rope along the top edge, a high-strength reinforcement belt at the waistline, and a weighted tension chain at the bottom; utilizing a chain-encasing design, the overall structure is clean and streamlined.
◆ Reusable.
