Inflatable rubber oil booms are critical equipment for emergency containment of oil spills, helping prevent lateral spread and facilitate diversion. They are widely deployed in various aquatic environments prone to oil spills—including open seas, harbors, docks, rivers, offshore oil platforms, and during maritime rescue operations.

◆ The inflatable rubber oil boom features a two-layer, high-strength fabric skeleton encased in high-quality synthetic rubber, offering excellent resistance to oil, abrasion, seawater corrosion, and UV-induced aging.
◆ Equipped with specially designed air valves, the boom allows for rapid inflation and ensures superior airtightness.
◆ Elastic support rods positioned between the air chambers maintain the boom's structural rigidity—both above and below the waterline—effectively preventing wave-overtopping and oil leakage.
◆ The boom operates symmetrically; it is capable of containing oil on either side, ensuring ease of use and operational flexibility.
◆ The boom features a smooth, seamless surface that facilitates easy cleaning.
◆ A tensioned ballast chain ensures effective draft depth when the boom assumes its "concave" oil-retention configuration; furthermore, due to the differential elongation rates between the boom body and the chain, the ballast chain acts as a protective safeguard, preventing structural damage to the boom.
◆ The accompanying hydraulic power unit, air compressor/vacuum pump, and hydraulic-driven reel stand (equipped with a braking mechanism) are securely mounted within a standard shipping container; the container features access doors at both the front and rear to facilitate convenient operation. Cleaning equipment and other accessories can also be configured according to user requirements.
◆ Options are available for incorporating luminescent markings or customizing the color of the rubber boom body to enhance visibility and identification.
◆ A flame-retardant rubber variant is available for use in environments requiring high fire safety ratings.
◆ Auxiliary equipment—such as towing heads, tow ropes, and mooring anchors—can be provided as a complete package to meet specific user needs.
